Hello! How time flies! I didn't realize that it half of September is done until I was about to write this post. Ugh!

I want to share a fun project I made on a weekend in between toddler-sitting. I have 2 kids ages 5 and 3 and they're a handful!!

This was how my working table at home looked like.... You can see all the supplies I intended to use for this project...

It would have been nice if I took a video, but sorry I'm still in the process of learning how to do it.... so, let's settle with photos.
I used the DCWV papers that came from BEE HAPPY CRAFTS. One of the sheets caught my attention and I fussy cut some of the blooms on  the sheet.

I used cheap clear glue from a local craftstore since I cant find a better brand of gel medium. This kind of glue works well on paper.

NEXT: I tore sheets of bookkeeper and laid these on my base. When I was satisfied with the placement, I adhered them with glue.

NEXT: I painted gesso all over.... I used a heat tool to hasten the drying process.

NEXT: I painted the background with blue acrylic paint. I used a stencil to paint textures. I didn't like it, I should have used a texture paste instead. Once the background was dry, I laid the cut-out flowers and glued them on the page.

Once the glue was dry, I started painting the flowers. This part was super fun!

AND THE FINISHED ARTWORK....

I added leaves, stamps some butterflies, added a pot, and more stamped images here and there to give the page more character. Please feel free to write me some comments, it will surely be nice to read. For your crafting needs, please drop by BEE HAPPY CRAFTS ONLINE STORE to shop.

Thank you!
